Brusno Medical Spa
Overview
Brusno Medical Spa is situated in the heart of Slovakia, in a valley of the Slovak Ore Mountains (Slovenské Rudohorie), at the south western foot of the Mountain Vepor and the Hell valley (Peklo). Conifer forests with their authentic velvet aroma surround the spa.
Its unique location, only a few kilometres northeast of Banská Bystrica, surrounded by forests in the Upper Hron valley, offers undisturbed quietness, fresh air and breath-taking natural scenery. The medical spa has favourable, warm and damp submontane climate.
For medical treatment, we use natural healing water from local mineral springs. Our healing water can be characterised as "natural, slightly acidulous, highly mineralised, hydrogene-carbonate-sulphate-calcareous-magnesium mineral water with increased amounts of hydrogene-carbonates sulphates, calcium, magnesium and fluorid ions". Our natural healing comes out of the ground cold.
Four mineral springs – Ondrej, Ludvik, Paula and Dumbier - have practically identical chemical composition, and treatments are based on drinking. The Ondrej spring is also used for mineral carbonate baths.

There are 42 single rooms with an optional additional bed, 79 double rooms, 3 double rooms for the disabled and 4 suites.
Single-bed rooms also have the option of one additional bed, balcony, toilets in bathroom, shower bath, additional bed on a fixed bed, sofa - couch
Double-bed rooms also offer rooms for guests with disabilities, balcony, separate toilets, bath tub, separated beds
Two-bed apartments have separate toilets, toilets in bathroom, bath tub, hydro massage, shower-bath, bidet, bedroom separated from living room, a terrace or balcony, additional bed on a folding couch, sofa - couch, bed with canopy, two TV-sets
